Private Tours
We welcome private viewings of the House!

Dr Johnson's House is available for exclusive evening viewings. This includes a curator's tour of the house after hours, with a drinks reception on arrival to allow you and guests time to socialise in the historic surroundings.
We are taking bookings in advance. The evening tour lasts up to two hours. 6pm - 8pm.

The cost is £25.00 per person with a minimum of 10 guests. Maximum group size is 30 people. Do get in touch to discuss your Private Visit and we'll take care of the rest!

Group Tours
We welcome group tours of the House!
Dr Johnson's House is available for group tours. Tours are led by curatorial staff and last 45-60 mins. Visit the house to soak up the atmosphere and socialise with your fellow tour members in these historic surroundings. Currently, we are taking bookings for Tuesdays-Saturdays, though alternative days can be arranged where required.
The cost is £14.00 per person. Minimum group size is 10 people, maximum group size is 30 people.
Please note that other discounts do not apply to guided tours.
