Secondary Schools

Dr Johnson's House runs English workshops for secondary pupils based around Johnson's Dictionary and Black History where we explore the lives and work of those living in 17 Gough Square. We introduce the concept of language change and lay the foundations for further linguistic studies. We draw on primary evidence in our collections to illustrate these concepts.
